Is this compatible with a 2000 R25 derv?

Seen them cheap on ebay, so would be good if they can read and clear my fault code etc.

Cheers

No. I've a feeling they'l read but won't clear. (or is it the other way around?), anyway it won't be fully compatible that's for sure. Should be able to tap into the sensors though for logging throttle, boost, calculated load etc.

I have one, and I'm glad I have it, not so much use for the rovers but surprisingly it was compatible with some of the older vauxhall diesels and has proved to be worth it's dough (though you need special software to decode the vauxhall faults, but it comes through the elm interface fine).

I'd get one, learn what you can do with it then put it on the shelf till a need arises.

So worth spending the £15 or so then, altho it won't work fully?

I have a elm323 with digimoto software and use it for setting up mafams and boost, and general sensor readings. Like said above will be no good for fault clearing. Yer go for it
