Drivers door window ZR 1.8

Help again please Guys.

My facelift ZR 1.8 has a problem with the drivers side electric window. (I have central locking probs due to a duff relay). The window has just started to play up. You can drop the window when the car is started but can only get it to rise up by opening the door fully!

Any suggestions as to what may be causing this? (door switch?).

Your help is appreciated.

Hello Chris
Can I also ask whether you have had any separate electrical problems with your ZR under your ownership? Facelift ZRs do have more difficulty with these than the earlier models.

Check the electrical connections (and wires) where they go into the door.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

I have no other electrical problems save for the central locking. The passenger window is not affected. I wondered if there is a relay in the door or somesuch?
