Driver side seat not moving in any direction. (Rover 75)

Hi,

I thought i would check here first for advice, before diving blind into the car.

The other day, just realised my seat wouldn't adjust anymore.

Does not go up/ down, or front/back, also no recline. NO effect from memory buttons, which i haven't used before any way.

I assume its not motors, as none of the movements work. Therefore, I am hoping its the fuse..... Where are the fuses? I dont have a manual for the car, yet.

Any pointers, most appreciated.

Thanks,
Av

Just a quick update.

I have found the fuse box, and checked the 2 30amp fuses, one for the passenger side, one for driver seat. Both fuses were ok.

I have shone a torch under the seat, from front & behind and all the cabling seems ok. Perhaps might take a picture, and see if i can get more detail, as its a bit cramped under there.

Any other ideas, anyone.

Thanks,
Av

Hi Homecat

Not 100% sure but i think there is a connector under the drivers seat that sometimes comes loose, Check under there again and pull apart and replug the connectors under there.

It's still early yet, hopefully someone will pop along and tell you for sure when they wake up lazy beggers :p
