Gah!
Im in shock.... wtf did they make that rear wing out of.. IKEA shelfes or what?
Not the way to treat a 600...

/Joakim
I haven't been a Rover owner for very long but that car looks "tortured".

Cornflake box bonnet scoop and a spoiler made of plywood or MDF?

Will someone poke me so i wake up from this nightmare!!!!!
I was just a little bit sick in my mouth!

poor car.... :(

Matt
I just reposted this over at Rovertech.. hope you wont hold that against me 620 Turbo Rapid ;) Was such a.. well... not sure. Bodged 600... scary really... poor car.

My wee bro recently bought a 535 that had been treated to the same "modifying" , it had been on a scumball rally as mad maxes interceptor  , it had the rocker cover from another engine bolted on top of the bonnet along with a siren / bullhorn , orange fllashy lights on the roof , a roof spoiler / a big boot spoiler , a baby doll cable tied to the front bumper etc ...actually a picture speaks a thousand words , here she is

note the one off 6 headlamp conversion , because 4 is never enough lol , and no thats not a sunstrip on the screen , it is actually matt black paint .

anyways he bought it as a track slag and has gutted it so it now looks quite a bit better

I might be getting to grips with her in november at oulton park , watch this space , andy

No problem Ulmenkott , it needs to be seen so this doesn`t happen again.
@ andy , thats one tacky looking car, done a good job converting it.
Is that your finger in the top pic Andy? ;)

Wooooffft, I like! got a huge soft spot for the E34, and that looks hard as nails! kudos to your bro for bringing it back from the brink! I was watching a V8 Touring which had LPG, but unfortunately it soon left my meagre budget by the way. Is this the same bro who had the E36?

I'm actually fancying a black E36 Coupe too, I must be brave admitting all this on here

Take some vids at Oulton, Andy! :D

Got a blue E36 coupe waiting for me when I can be bothered to get round to fitting a new rad into it!
Well spotted Turbo (Andy?), I was actually over your way last night (Poole) and had a great drive back late last night through Dorset.

More to this story .. made me laugh ..

Good old Rover. It served us well. Our trusty 620Si took us over 1750 miles.
Not well known for their reliability, but it became a faithful friend.
Never skipped a beat, didn't use any oil or water. Didn't over heat in temps up to 47 degrees. We will miss it. Well done Rover. Luckily this tail has a happy ending. Number 69 is coming back to blightly.

Thanks gordon, i couldn`t believe it when i was looking through autotrader and found this car.

I bet you had a great drive back from dorset to devon, there are some awesome roads with fast bends and lots of hill climbing !!.

Where did you manage to dig up the info on this car.Good work mate.

Regards Andy.
Yep - nothing much about .. only have 618i so more than a tad slower than you .., however 'time' the approach to hillclimbs etc as know the road very well, so tend to pass most cars with ease. (I can't believe at 140k my car is still pulling well, I seldom rev much above 4500rpm)

re. info .. The power of 'goggle' ! frightening eh? I know what my 'lads' are doing- wife just looks at their facebook pages / photos -- lol !

Where to start with our kids bmw ownership ?
I think he startes with one of these

1988 m535 which we took to the ring
then a 1990 535 sport which we again took to the ring

then a 325 he didnt have for long

then a 325 cabriolet that he sold to the guy who was delivering it to him so he never even had it on his drive

followed by a 325 that died after meeting a crash barrier on the ring

then 3 of these

2 saloons and a tourer

I think that takes us up to his current fleet which is .
one of these

the interceptor as pictured in the previous post , and a non working m5 project

as you can tell , he kinda likes beemers ,l andy
