Does anyone have a ALPINE CDA7998R h-u in their ZS?

Hi , ive just ordered a MG ZS 180 and i am planning on ordering a alpine 7998r ready for when i get it :bgrin:

Does anyone have one of these h-u's in their ZS already ?

and does if fit ok

Should fit in no problem.

Some Alpine units need a direct power feed of the battery though.

Yeah it will probably fit okay but getting the wiring out the back will probably have you swearing and cursing. Feed the associated tangle of wiring out the holes in the back if you have difficulty, try and rope in a helper to lie in the passenger footer well with their hand up the back of the console. Their hands will probably get scratched, but it's all worth it for a quality headunit
