Having only been home a few hours i'm already waiting for my next meet, but wondered how quiet it goes through the winter? i only joined the forum in March so ive probably been spoilt throughout the summer, i know a few of you put your cars to bed for the winter, does this mean that the forum goes a bit quiet until next spring? ( I do hope not) :( The last year has been so good for me, getting married, new house, getting my TF and making loads of new friends on here :)

I've only had one mini-meet with one other MG driver, so I'm hoping there'll still be meets.
Well there's still a run for Maggie & Betty on the cards isn't there ??
The Midland ' Informals ' ( no chairman, no committees, no rules ) are active all year round !
We're overdue a Thames Valley meet. It will happen though - just need to rally the troops as we've all been busy doing other stuff.

Good to hear, your a bit like the A team really arent you, :)
I've got some ties in Oxford, we could do a meet around there?

Start at Beconsfield or somewhere similar, then have a roam around the country roads, finish in a pub out in Chipping Norton or somewhere similarly country-y?

This was mentioned all weekend, from what I gather its a lap round the M25 topless, am I right?!

Im deffo up for the winter meets, however they need to involve drinking but maybe not camping... I was freezing. Crappy old b&b near a cheap pub and a field to practice some advance driving moves :)
Yup...topless around the M25....WHATEVER the weather, all to raise money for charity, usually in February ish

Def have to come to more meets.....watch the forum my young one!!!

Lightweight!! All you need is a decent airbed, a sleeping bag and a double duvet and you'll be warm as toast. Apparently sharing body heat helps too ...

I had two airbeds, one went down on me! Also had two sleeping bags but only ended up using one.... now double duvet and sharing body heat, there's an idea.... you bring the duvet and I'll bring the heat ;)
