cams? pulleys? also after having a quick look about this site there dosent seem to be many disel performance parts on here anyody know any other sites.

thanx.

I have an intercooled model, sometimes the possibility of removing the catalytic converter crosses my mind reducing exhaust backpressure. I believe it doesn't increase power much but the better exhaust flow makes the turbo pick up quicker especially at low engine speeds. My concerns are does it effect insurance? and will it pass an MOT?

Does anyone know if it's possible to have a variable geometry turbo fitted, if so how much would it cost? and insurance?

chipping is most effective, or getting a tuning box

winding the psi up a bit is always helpful (boost gauge and bleed valve), on the non intercooled diesel you can also increase fueling slightly by turning the screw on the fuel pump 1/6 to 1/8

breathing mods ie filter and exhaust are always helpful, I've got a decat and it does improve throttle responce slightly although I wouldnt hope for a power increase

luckily for you the decat will pass an MOT on the derv because the emmissions dont change much :D (from what I've been told)
