My 75 has a lack of power .There is no pulling power when I pullaway, pickup of the revs is so slow will not rev above 3500 revs ,it will go up to 30mph slowley and then when i put it into secnd gear it creeps up to 40mph but takes about 200 yards.I am frightened to pull out into traffic unless there is a very big gap. What has happened?

What engine/age/mileage?

lack of power might indicate the MAFAM (air flow sensor) is faulty, so the engine isn't being fueled properly but we'd need more info

Definitely sounds like the MAF sensor, quite a common problem!

Try unplugging the sensor and going for a run, and see if you notice any improvement, if so, give Rover Ron a call and get one of his nice MAFAM units. ;)
