Do the dials still light up? and do your other instruments illuminate. Could be a fuse blown

 

I did think about a blown fuse but everything still lights up except the rear window and hazard switch lol unless those two switches are on there own fuse???

 

Is the wiring intact behind the switches. (pull them out and have a gander).

 

Yup, looks completely fine to me! The bizarre thing is that my rear fog switch didnt light up for a time but then magically sorted itself out...? And the switches themselves still do there respective jobs so I'm guessing the wiring is OK... weird lol

 

The Hazard Switch Light doesn't flash mate as its got a symbol that flashes on the Speedo !!!

The bulbs somtimes work themselves loose, make sure there turned fully clockwise, if they still fail to light up then remove the bulb holders and lift he wire contacts up a little so bette contact on the switch can be made, if this still fails to work its new bulb time, I have some but its an exchance for your old ones !!!

Does it? I cant actually remember lol I always thought the switch flashed when the hazards were on

 

Little Update - Went across the road to see a neighbour and we swapped dash switches. My switches lit up in his car, his didnt in mine

Truly stumped. If I've blown a fuse, would there be other things not working as well? Or have I worked a wire loose somewhere? Help!!!! lol

 

you might have a dirty connector

 

Did you get anywhere with this... as i have the same problem...

The hazard switch light does not light up... The hazards work correctly, I have replaced the switch with a known good working (lights up) switch and still no light... all other dash lights work...

Any Ideas?

+1 im also in the same predicament. The buttons work but dont light up. My heated rear window light works but not the fog or hazard switch

 

I had the same problem yesterday just punched the dash and it works now, nuff love for the technical tap

I try that every night. I had the same problem on my old (use the term relatively) Grande Punto and that fixed with a good hard whack
