Oh.......and where can i get a heatshield? they about 30 quid now or something??

There are loads of exhaust centres...through this way people normally use MMV Performance or Soundsofsilence (top guy he is!). Dont know about other areas but im sure someone will tell us.

As for the heatsheild, a got one off ebay...cheers to Stuarty for fittin it for me last week :bgrin2:

There's a load of authorised Powerflow dealers about Andy, try their website for centres near you. CRD in Mid Calder did Lyndsay's and it is awesome

Heatshields go on eBay for £50 these days... :err:

Cheers mate, cant get a local powerflow dealer up on the computer cos its blocked in here!

50 quid??? ah well may as well get it of a dealer then.

Ive got one mate, but i need another one for the other side, for the second exit of the pipe

Means my blueflame will be off and hopefully moving onwards sometime next month.

Just got a quote from them for a full custom system for my GTV - both front downpipes, centre section & dual exit rear section to quad pipes..... only £500 all in!!

360? i could prob push that. but ive heard of getting full systems for 300!

Do they do different styles of tail pipes?? i want the porsche look ones, the two circles kind of lapping over each other? need to find out if theyd fit through the heat shield though.

Coming up first is Alloys, lowered and exhaust anyways, so i may as well get them all fitted at the same time/place anyways.

The heat shield costs 58.75 quid from the main dealer. pricey.

I phoned the parts factory/warehouse in Glasgow - thats including VAT.

My personal opinion of MMV is not a good one, they have never done any work on my car but my cousin got an exhaust fitted by them to his Megane Coupe and all he had was bother from it. Saying that, they were always more than helpful when he took the car back to them and would fix it no problem but the added hassle of taking it back all the time ****ed him off. Also heard other people in Falkirk talk about them and heard some right dodgey stories about them.
