Saw a gorgeous ZT T (54 reg?) facelift on my way back from Dorset this evening. Saw it pulling out from a side road and thought 'nice 75' only when it got behind me could I see it was a ZT. It was pale/mid metallic green, certainly looked like a Rover colour and suprisingly good on an MG. Were these special order or something?

Yes indeed you could. You had to pay a little extra for the Rover colour though, and they were built to order as part of the Monogram programme.

I always thought they should have made the MG ZR in the rover white.I had an MG Maestro in white & it looked great with the red seat belts & carpets etc & the latest Golf GTi is great in white.

Tempest and X power grey are the same colour. Don't know if there were other colours with 2 names.

No, as far as I can recall, that was the only colour that had dual names.

I remember seeing a Mark 1 MG ZT in Wedgewood Blue a few months ago. It looked lovely.
