Hi. I have a Rover 111 Kensington SE, 1997. I took it for an MOT and it passed with a few minor probs being fixed (handbrake, lights etc). I left it parked for a few days and took it for a short drive, no reading on the temp gauge during journey. I notice some fluid dripping. when I looked under the bonnet I found coolant had leaked all over the bulkhead. Couldn't find source and suspect the expansion tank cap may be faulty but I wonder if I should return to garage who performed MOT? Surely they'd have noticed such a thing?

advice and suggestions welcome.

Where is it leaking from? can you take a picture? What colour is the fluid? is it over heating?

I think its just bad luck, the MOT tests for safety and emmisions and not for reliablity sorry.
