Hello peeps,

Does anyone recommend a half decent component set for my g/f's car.

it's a Rover 25, 2Litre DT (Van model) 03 plate.

I'd like a really loud set, but don't really want the hassle of having to build the units out with MDF etc, i really just wanna connect and screw in a new set. Is it possible, or are the door holes to shallow for that?

Any ideas for a good loud set that will fit?

Thanks muchly in advance.

:O)

Well at the moment 50p and a packet of peanuts, but around £100 if possible. I know it won't buy much, but i'm sure anything will be better than the standard ones.

cheers

Copy and pasted from the thread directly below this one in the threads listing ;)

"If you want it loud, definitely don't buy aftermarket speakers willy nilly. Most of them require more power to create the same level of sound. If you want "better" sound, then by all means upgrade them, but you'll probably need an amp if you want them to keep up with the OEM units. An amp is always a good plan anyway - headunit amps are almost always the limiting factor in an otherwise stock system. The internal amps are usually only good for around 15WRMS."
