Hi

I know where the commission no is on my Zed, but where is it on a TF??

Also SWMBO's TF's paint code is JFM which is, I think, Pearlescent royal blue, yet it looks very dark blue, almost black, Has it been resprayed??

Any ideas welcome

Pete

The 3 digit paint and trim codes are found on the VIN plate. On a TF this is found under the bonnet, on the left hand side (and just behind the ABS unit if you have ABS fitted).

Code JFM is indeed Royal blue.

Sharkymgf The commision number is the build/body number.
They are 2 different things, and I have never heard of either being refered to as a commission number.
The build number is contained within the VIN number (its the 6 numerical digits at the end) and the body number is on a plate welded to the passenger side of the engine bulkhead, under the boot carpet.

Seems Chris T was right, maybe only applies to Zed's

Nice hint there Herbie, I'll do it soon, but I thought Scarlet Fever was doing a similar sort of thing.
