Suggest you remove wheel and check spring is not broken and if not check top suspension bearing.
Suggest you do this urgently before driving car again.
As said, get them to check that one of the springs hasn't snapped (how old is your car?) and that your bushes/Suspension mounts arn't shot.
I had a Peugeot that had the same clonk when turning left and it turned out that the wishbone bushes had completly gone!
Main dealer said it was "wear and tear"...........what after 15000 miles and 2 years!
