Does anyone know how to clean the built up grime of my windscreen, fitted new wipers ( from wilkinsons £2.99 ) and bought some screen cleaner from Halfords, but after 2 or 3 attemps there is still streaky marks on the windscreen. Has anyone any surefire way of removing them ?

Use a good quality Screen Wash at about 4 parts water to 1 part Screen Wash,sponge it well and polish with an old newspaper.
AG Glass Polish I find is very good followed by mild clay (dont use clay that has been used on paint, dirty / used as this will scratch your glass).
