Cityrover select learn key port

Hi I was wondering if anyone can help with the above , I can't find the port and need some help reprogramming if possible , thanks

Sorry should of said its the key fob that needs reprogramming as its stopped working , I sourced a new one
Diagnostic connector should be on the passenger side behined/below glove box. You should be able to check by your hand to see if it is there.

It's not , I've found it, for anyone wanting to know it's under the drivers seat on the floor in the carpet opening

This is very interesting info...
To add new fobs you need the "programming fob" which has a cable attached that is plugged into the alarm/immobiliser module to enable the process.
It isn't something that is done using a diagnostic tool.

I believe a "programming fob" was meant to be supplied with each vehicle from new.
