After the starting problems took the car to a diesel specialist who diagnosed another problem with injectors. Some seal was allowing fuel to run back or something. They fixed for free which was very good. Big up Dales stoke on Trent.

Now the car pulls much better and the MPG has gone from round the 32mpg to around 40-42. I drive hard and mostly local running so this is a big improvement.

Was that Potteries diesels? just serviced my ZT-T and then had a real go at bettering 600 miles on the best run so far commuting up and down theA50 to derby. still cant break the magical 54mpg though... if I could resist flooring the throttle every so often, maybe I could get better!
Anyway getting bored with driving like my Dad so gonna see how fast it goes instead!! hehe
Incidently mine usually averages between 44-48 mpg normal driving, but having it chipped later in the year when the wife isnt looking, wonder how it will affect the mpg?
