ne1 got any idea about the price for a standard cat, and a standard flexi pipe?

one of myne is farting like hell, the flexi is a bit rusty on the edges soi im guessing its that.

id get1 from a scrappy but has any1 ever tried to get under a car with no wheels on soil or thats sat on the roof of another car?? how the hell r u expected to get stuff off!!

I did this yesterday after reading this post and they had the same pipe for £55.00 inc VAT

That'll work out about the same "Cats Direct" when you consider the £5+ P&P

However, my local motor factor only stock the ceramic cats and they were about £20 dearer. :(

Don't forget new gaskets for the front pipe to manifold and front pipe to CAT.
You will likely need to order the front pipe to manifold gasket from Rover or just clean the old one up and use exhaust jointing paste on all joints.
Try to use the asbestos free paste as the asbestos stuff is crap.
