Hope this won't be another of Hyundai's great cars, that look nice when they are launched, but are ruined at facelift time.

With them being Spyshots, I would imagine that it will be a few months/year before Hyundai will be ready to reveal prices and specs.

Finally a RWD coupe!! Wonder what engine its powered by... v6? v8? turbo?
Rumours say a V8 coupe will surface, but underhood spy shots of this car reveal a four cylinder mill. This could be a base engine, but a 'mystery' piece of piping/hose running to an area near the intake (the picture doesn't make it clear where it start or stops) suggests the four under the bonnet of this car might be a turbo....which makes one wonder if the V8 coupe isn't going to be a different car altogether or if we're simply getting overly excited over a piece of emissions equipment..

Rear wheel drive? That would make things very interesting indeed. We need a low-priced RWD sports car following the demise of the S15 Silvia and sometimes an mx-5 just won't cut the practicality mustard. The 350Z/RX8 too pricey, and the 3 series at that price range are gutless.

going by the wheels alone, it looks like Hyundai have finally got their proportions right, let's hope they don't ruin it by putting comically large headlights on it, or boy-racer rear lights. The interior could be a bit more classy, and a bit less miles-of-grey/black plastic. But you can't have everything.

I've got a sneaky suspicion this will turn out pretty well.
