One thing that is sure to wind me up is careless toss pots with doors and trolleys.
Only the other week someone on B&Q car park parked so close to me they couldn't possibly have got out without banging their door into mine, so I made sure they got a nice door ding back!

At school, the parking is horrendous!! Its scary! I try park mine as far away as them as possible.

Some of them in the morning swing in, and dont give a **** where they park, even if its over 2 spaces, or diagonal.. Its scary!

I've already got one trolly ding in my car, don't want any more, regardless of the year of the car

Also, working at a supermarket doesn't help, but i try and park in the old disabled spaces, which aren't used anymore and are larger than normal

 

I always park my car well away from other cars when possible, just because im scared this will happen.

 

As do I, i'd rather walk further; its the girlfriend that complains though 'why are you parking so far away......bla bla bla bla....'

 

dude you got off lightly, i left my car in bristol for 3 hours a few weeks ago and it was KEYED on the bonet in the shape of an X about 8" square, 10 inch key mark on the drivers/rear door, and a 4" key ,mark on the passengers door. couldn't believe it!!

Big ASDA wallmart near me always has stray trolleys.

and bundles of cahvs to go with them. Bad news.

im gettin the bonnet resprayed. the other scratches are getting 'halfords scratch repair'..............:indiff: i hope it looks ok......get it done in next pay packet, this month im gettin Vi half leather seats, new wheel bearing and hopefully some alloy wheels

 

other thing to consider is the fact the wind is right b***h at the moment, knonking all sorta rubbish onto cars

 

Yeah i thought about the wind but when i left the car there were no trollys near it and was only gone 10 mins max so sum1 must have moved it there. well calmed down now will just have to get it fixed again and live in hope it doesnt happen again !

 

Caught someone keying the car next to mine in the local town. He now has a higher voice, walks funny and is considering a new career. Whilst he was holding on to his bruised, probably tiny, balls I took a picture with my phone and waited for the owner of the car (200sx later model thing). He was ****** off but knew the lad who did it, so I guess he'll get his again soon.
Vengence is a dish best served cold.

Just trying to revive a very useful thread - it's good to have a rant!

Local kebab delivery kid tried to squeeze into a space between mine and another car and left a football-size dent in the rear quarter of my old (93) escort, aaarh . Luckily, I was outside talking to a friend and heard the crunch, "what you doing?" I asked politely :irked:, to which he replied, "it's not your car is it??"


I couldn't believe he was gonna leave it - and didn't want to go through his insurance. Took some id and got a quote for the work which he paid in full :emps: I was probably a little lucky, but I didn't charge him for the grief or mileage to get the quote... d'oh.

who on hear if they accidnetally dinged some1s car opening the door etc. in a car park ... who would wait around for the owner and not just drive off without having any hassel?

Well jam-88 on this forum will confirm that we were at a meet, some van driver pulled up and reversed into his metro, bout 20 of us, i think he actually crapped his pants :| luckily he was nice about it and gave jamie money to get a new bonnet straight away!

Nothing like that has happend to me yet! im normally pretty good and judging the size of my car and i know if im getting close!

About the leaving it in gear thing.. i asked a friend of mine to start my car.. i even told him it was in gear.. he started it up and it went straight into the porch! good job i wasent infront of the car!

we've had all our cars broken into or nicked... i now have a redundant chinup bar next to my bed.. my borther his the wooden part of a pick-axe and my dad has a large wooden bat ... and we are all light sleepers now...
