Hi

I have been looking to buy a good DA polisher for a while, but they seem to vary quite a bit in price.

Money is scarce, so I don't want to buy a top of the range, when a middle of the road works just as well.

I am a complete novice, and all it will be used for is to get the cars ready for any shows i go to, so any recommendations based on experience would be appreciated

Many thanks
Stephen

DAS-6 Pro is a good starter machine. Personally I'd avoid the cheaper kits on eBay. Pads and polish-wise, there are loads out there and everyone has their favourites. I really rate the Scholl polish range, good results and very easy to work with. Just be sure to practice on a scrap panel first before setting loose on the 'good' cars, just in case....

I have the DAS-6 Pro with the 850w motor, it's more than adequate for most applications and it's also a very good polisher for correction.
Most people would be happy with the standard DAS-6 if money is tigh
