Hi, ive just fitted a new cambelt to my sisters car and although I don't think I touched anything the engine warning light now stays on. The car runs OK with just a slight lumpiness between idle and power pick up.

If I am one tooth out on the cambelt would it be really noticeable?

Thanks

errr, this is a bad idea, you want the cam belt absolutly spot on. serious damage will occur if it isnt.

its a mechanical system, so its designed to be where it should be and the accepted tollerance id built into that, anything other than this is wrong.

very much doubt you will get F1 pit mechanics going, " yeah thatll do" or even you local garage.
