probably my answer can´t help you, because here in Chile arrives the MG made by Saic in China. Anyway, stay sure about the gasoline consumption, and check how much fit the plastic pieces (for example, check how much good is the join the plastic side part of all door) Saic China made magnific cars, but some plastic pieces can be removed easily.

I understand in UK, all MG production is made in England, that supposed many step high in quality against chinese

No new MG cars are built in the UK. Only the Mg6 was assembled here in knock down kit form and that has since long stopped. All the UK cars come from China or other factories owned by SAIC.

Thanks for the info. I understood that no Chinese car could enter Europe, because they still did not reach the safety and quality standards, with the exception of MG, which produced in the UK only for Europe.

This speaks even better about the quality of our cars. Just out of curiosity, are there any other cars of Chinese origin in the UK (or Europe in general)?

The MG3 was also partly assembled at Longbridge until 2016 after which fully assembled vehicles were brought in from China. All production and assembly at Longbridge then ceased.
Until very recently, I don't think any MG Motor cars were sold elsewhere in Europe. However, I believe the ZS EV is or will be sold in Europe.
I'm also not aware of any other Chinese made cars sold in the UK or Europe, although I can't say for sure.
The newest MG cars, the ZS EV and the HS have both achieved the maximum 5 star Euro NCAP safety ratings.
Personally, I wouldn't have any worries that current MG cars are not up to the required quality or safety standards.

MG now rank top 1 in Thailand SUV sales with over 7,131 SUVs sold.
And ZS EV is the variant with largest volume. MG earlier shocked the market by launching the electric vehicle ZS EV priced at only Bt1.19 million.
