Broke my demister - dunno how to fix!

OK so when I was ripping off the internal trim for the boot hatch to apply my spoiler, I accidentally ripped one of the connectors for the rear demister off (the right hand side) so I'm wondering what I can do to reattach it so that it still works!

Thanks

Both ends of what wire? :)

I have a flat metal terminal covered in solder, and then on the glass there is the large square patch right at the edge, which has very little solder on it.
That's what I meant. If you can still see both ends of the connector then it should be solderable.
I've done a fair bit of electrical work in my time, so I'll give some advice how to do it.
First of all put a little soldering flux on whats left of the broken terminal on the glass then coat it in solder with a soldering iron. Then get a few strands of copper wire twisted together and coat that in solder too. Put a tiny bit of flux on the copper wire then mate it with what's left of the terminal on the glass and solder it.
Position the connector close to the broken terminal on the glass and attach it somehow with double sided tape or whatever.
Coat the connector in solder as before then bridge the gap with the copper wire and solder the two together.

So how did they attach it in the first place? Because I'm 90% sure that's solder on there at the moment.
yes it was soldered, but was done whilst glass was warm, result no hot spot.

Ashy's method works, but be very careful... I've had glass go on me when trying to solder it, and the bang is fcuking loud!
