It is with great sadness that i have to break my beloved ZS, it failed its MOT earlier on non-functioning windscreen washers which has turned out to be an almost complete failure of the Body Control Unit, and sadly as these cars are worth very little as complete vehicles, i have made the decision to give its life so that others may keep running.

Almost all parts are available, below are just a few of the bigger items, please note prices do not include postage, the really big items are pick up only:

K-series 1.8L with 135 cams, vernier pulleys and alloy inlet, 52mm throttle body and blue injectors, remapped by Z and F tuning (now k-maps) giving roughly 140-150bhp, covered 85,000 miles, head gasket replaced with MLS one before the elastomer one failed (never overheated) serviced regularly, runs very well indeed.
£500

Set of 4 streetwise Addendum alloy wheels with 4 Yokohama parada tyres, these where re-powder coated in an anthracite grey which has some age related marks / stone chips but nothing to panic about, rear tyres are excellent, the fronts have worn on the insides where the tracking must have been out but are still legal.
£300

Heated blue alcantara front and rear seats for a Hatchback ZS, in almost immaculate condition, only a small crease in the drivers cushion (just needs pulling straight) Rear seats have leather headrests, you will not find another set like this! hence the price, switches and relays for the heaters included if you need them.
£500

Mk2 180 body kit, comprises of front and rear bumper (including metal exhaust surround) side skirts, rear door spats and front wings in Ignition blue (paint code JGY) all the clips for the side skirts have been custom made so are still intact, all is in good physical condition though the paintwork is not so great, would benefit from a respray.
£250

Boot parcel shelf-shelf (no idea what to call it) the little shelf that sits under the main parcel shelf, useful for storing smaller items you don't want rolling around in the boot, flocked inside and has velcro straps for holding a full size umbrella, a very rare item.
£60

Heater vent rings, i have a few sets of these with brushed rings, chrome rings or anodised blue rings, i believe all of the fins are intact, i shall double check if anyone wants a set, price is for a set of 4
£50

Set of GAZ coil overs, these have been on the car for 2 years, they do look tatty though would probably clean up with a bit of elbow grease, all of them work fine and all the adjustable damping wheels spin and work, springs are included
£300

Dark ice designs front strut brace, excellent condition with no decal
£60

Honda civic lower suspension rear brace, attaches to the lower trailing arm mounting points under the fuel tank, good condition
£50

Stainless Steel cat-back exhaust made by tony banks, in full working condition, i specified a "silent" system originally but after a year it spat the baffles out and is now a "mild sport" lol works perfectly and i still have all the warranty paperwork if you want it back to a silent system (costs £50 to transfer the warranty iirc)
£75

Set of 4 genuine MG mats in very good condition with plastic anti-slip fasteners
£20

The car does also have mostly poly bushed arms and linkages (barring the rear trailing arms) these will be the last things that come off the car and would rather sell as a bunch but may split if no interest, price will vary accordingly

There are many many more items, as before these are just a few of the bigger items, please do not hesitate to ask if you want a specific part, else it will get crushed along with the shell. The car does have rear electric windows, although thanks to the BCU failing they wont come down, as such i am unsure if i can get them out, will investigate later but they will be for sale too, can just sell the whole doors if needed.

Will add some more pictures later and upload them once my router behaves, if anyone wants pics of anything specific, tell me

please note the gearbox and linkages are not for sale

cheers all

Roo

its in Malton near York and most of the front end is already disassembled

i am not going to the time and effort of fixing the BCU, spending money on something that i will have to sell for peanuts only for someone else to break it and make a profit, besides, i am already wanting the gearbox (BRM one) and upgraded linkages for my 620, hence the reason for breaking it, yes its a real shame as it was a marvellous car with no rust at all but the sad truth is they are not worth anything as whole cars

Shame theres not more pics, looks a smart example but MOT failure for 500 never goes over well except to those who know its well worth that for the parts and love that car and want to keep an example on the road.

I know I'm new here but couldnt believe it when my brother sold an old micra no MOT for several hundred. If that can happen then anythings possible, its usually about location and just meeting someone who knows how to fix it.

Info on getting a trailer for a car to transport then repairs etc is what I'm looking into now personally. Hope the 620 is going well anyhow
