I've got a 1998 green 420SLi which I'm happy to break if there's any interest, I only wanted the engine, wiring loom and ECU for my MGB so everything else is for sale before I ask the local scrap merchant to come and pick it up.
It's a four door saloon with grey velour interior and wood cappings, the doors are in good condition, as are the seats (not torn, no burn marks) and I'm happy to offer everything to other forum members at what I'd consider to be realistic prices, rather than just scrapping perfectly serviceable parts, e.g.;
Complete set of seats - £30
Front door (complete incl mirror) - £20 each
Rear door (complete) - £15 each
Bonnet - £15
Boot (has minor ding) - £10
Rear bumper/valance - £15
Gearbox - £30
Radiator (believed new last year) - £20
Headlights - £15 each
Tail lights - £10 each
The interior is pretty much complete so if anyone needs switches, steering wheel, airbags, etc. please drop me a note?
Also, everything else under the bonnet is available, e.g. ABS unit, air con components, power steering pump?
Finally, once I've stripped everything, the wheels will be available - they are the seven spoke alloys with 195/55R15 tyres (believe three were new last year) - £30
Anything big/heavy will need to be collected or you can arrange your own courier but I'm happy to post smaller items?
Drop me a note if there's anything you want in particular or if you need to see a picture of an item?
If anyone (perhaps someone who breaks cars for a living) wants to make me an offer for the complete car, less the parts I'm taking, please drop me a note, it would save me pulling things apart?
