I have a n reg 416 Sli tourer, got new pads done last year at mot, my problem is this:

when it heats up my r/h brake sqeels, only when hot, friend looked at it and looks the the caliper piston is free, but the slides are totaly rusted and bolts burred.

Could the slides cause this problem, and where can i get them, or do they only come as part of the calier or as a repair kit,

looked on a brake parts site (dont know if allowed to say what site) and have seal kites and repir kits but what would i need.

pads are fine not worn down , and only do about 3000 mile a year.

Without seeing pictures I can only guess that the calipers may need a strip down, overhaul and a good clean, wire brush or one suitable for an electric drill. Be particular when re-assembling them, ensure they are free and not sticking and apply coppaslip to appropriate areas carefully.

Had it checked nd it jut the slides, calipers pistons etc are free and ok, so does this only come with the caliper or as the repair kit etc.
