Well, it's that time of year where we have to book somethink or miss out.

We have decided to have The Border Patrol Christmas do on the 17 December 2010 at the Walworth Castle near Darlington.

We need to move quick on this. There are not many places left. Christmas Party Night with 3 course meal and disco.

Please let me know asap if you are coming, It's a £10 per person deposit for the party and an additional £10 per person if you are staying in accommodation.

You can book direct with the hotel on 01325 485470 just quote party night in Cardinals Court Border Patrol. Currently there are only 10 places left with accommodation and it will be first come first served.

Party night is £26.00 per person and Accommodation £70 per double room in the west wing or £90 in the Castle.

Lets celebrate the fun we have had all year!

I'm thinking that each person should bring a wrapped present. There is no budget, but there is also no reason to spend a lot of money, but it has to be MG related. It can be as nice or as silly as you want.

All presents will be collected and redistributed after I have shaken them and taken the biggest one.

Does this sound OK to everyone?

I think it would be better to suggest an upper and lower price limit, Otherwise whoever gets my 10p MG sticker will be upset...... err .... what I really meant to say was whoever gets my extravagant and exquisitely expensive present will be embarrassed by my magnanimity.
