Border Patrol Newcastle Tunnel Run 6th November

Hi guys, this is my first attempt at organising a run.

Since getting my TT exhaust i've been thinking about a tunnel run so here goes

Meeting place - brocksbushes farm at 10.00 am for a 10.30am departure which has a nice farm shop, which is off the A69/A68 roundabout. NE24 7UB

there will be 7 tunnels of which most we will drive through in each direction this includes the tyne tunnel which has a £1.20 toll for each trip through it, but i believe it is worth the £2.40 for going through in each direction, there will be many more bridges to drive under and cross the river Tyne 7 times.

plan to visit the sundial pub at South Shields for lunch which offers some meals 2 for £8. it also has a 12" sausage on a couple of the meals to try.

we will then go to St Mary's lighthouse at Whitley Bay ( depending on tides ) walk over to the light house.

we will then finish the run at the Wagon team pub which is right next to the A1 for a quick getaway afterwards

nope not a tunnel - but the only good bit about Whitley bay now -added to the list

I'm not a fan of 12" sausages. Last time I had one it made my eyes water.
Must have been the mustard. :dunno:

me too please Phil...somehow I don't think we'll be taking George on this one tho...unless I win the lottery and get him a Daytona between now and then!!! :dunno:

Ahhh poor George:sad2:its not all about having a noisy exhaust, you can still follow different cars through the tunnels and get the full effect then decide which exhaust to get George.

just don't get to close behind Iain because i think you may become rather deaf:bgrin2:
