Thats good,
Works out to 33.92mpg.
Thats assuming you used EXACTLY 26 litres, do you know for sure or was this a guestimate and the fuel gauge is far from accurate and there could be a large margin of error.
Thats good,Hi all about aweek ago i posted a question on how many miles I should be getting out of 26ltrs. And I manage to get 194 miles out of it. Now is this good or bad. It's rover 200/214 1.4 1998.
Thanks
Hi thanks for the reply. It should be accurate becoz I waited till the gauge was at red then I put in 30£ worth of petrol which was 26.7 @ 1.12per litre.Thats good,
Works out to 33.92mpg.

Well that extra 700ml of petrol makes your mpg 33 exactly now......Hi thanks for the reply. It should be accurate becoz I waited till the gauge was at red then I put in 30£ worth of petrol which was 26.7 @ 1.12per litre.
Are the gauge not accurate? Now the gauge is sitting in the red and that's while the car is parked level and had the ignition on for 10min just to give the nedle a chance to settle down..
Cheers
