OMG!

I'm not sure if you can view this as a guest... tell me if you can't, will see if I can show it another way.

Most probably you won't understand what they're writing, lol.. but you can look at the pretty pictures.

It's a work in Progress thread.. so no finished pics yet.

Was wondering if it'd confuse you.. that Mynheer kit was posted by someone else asking if that's what the guy was gonna do :p

Threads in this part of that forum are for people to post up works in progress.. as they progress, some phatt stuff in there.. some threads showing start to finish of people fibreglassin' their own boot installs etc.. etc.. real hands on modding community.

So yeah.. ignore the mynheer kits etc, hehe.

They're also comenting how the owner of this rover is indecisive.. lol..

But the most extreme bits.. off the top of me head are:

- Spare wheel well is gone
- BMW rear light conversion
- Motorbike petrol tank filler cap conversion
- Honda Civic nose

:err: this is one Rover I won't be recognizing straight off, lol.

I commented to the guy that it probably won't be for racing anymore.. I think he's totally ****ed the structure of the car, lol.. but if it's just for meets / cruisin'.. then  that's gonna be a nice car.

dunno and dunno and dunno.. these threads can piss me off in so many ways, lol.

You just wanna see it finished.. and they always just :dddc:

Only trickling information out, lol. Then some people, usually friends of theirs, post up that they've seen the progress.. and everyone else starts goin' POST PICS! and we're just left hanging, lol.

There's a guy in the same tuning club as me that's got a f**k off gorgeous paint job done to his, lol.. daewoo.. lemme link to those.. it's MAD!

Black in "normal" light.. and kinda typhoon glittery when light is shining on it.

You'd be surprised @ some of the cars "driving" around over here.. I see some mad rides in UK.. but Belgians "apparently" have the rep for being the craziest modders in Europe now... as a whole

I dunno.. erm.. I know if i want my 4 seats plus door cards re-leathered with alcantara in middle plus on the doors.. it'd set me back 1500eur.

Belgian tunning is mad . On Dutch tuning events, you can always tell which cars are belgian and which are dutch. Belgian modding is much more focused on the exterior/interior than on engine tuning. This is because of the insurance system, which make it almost impossible to own a powerful car. So you'll see a lot of extremely modded 1.1 and 1.4 engines in Belgium :D.
What makes it even stranger (although you can expect anything from a Belgian :bgrin: ) is the fact that they have to turn the car back to standard for every MOT. Bumpers, suspension etc has to be standard, you can't even change the size of your wheels .

Whoa! That's the type of crazy stuff I want to be doing instead of messing about with bee sting aerials (which, btw, I got yesterday :) ).

Looking great!
