actually thats about right for a dealer selling a non T+T rover 25, even if it is a VVC

because

Now you know someone will come along and say that even if its too far gone to repair that it is worth more in parts.....
this is 100% true... i bet if that was in tip top condition and T+T it's still only going to be worth what, ÂŁ900?

if tax costs ÂŁ130 for 6 months and MoT costs ÂŁ40 then you need to get the thing runinng 100% and through test for less than ÂŁ430... just to break even, and if it needs tires you've got sod all chance of making any money

I wonder how close it is to teesside... might be worth getting to break for my brothers car :sofa:

rover 25 1.8 GTi VVC

@Lezagog thanks for the heads up.

Bodmin and back.(210 miles) Picked it up and drove it back...
New tyres on the front - good ones on the back. Alloys good all round.
Body in very good condition.
Internals in good condition and all original. Exhaust not that old -sound.

Engine has water in the oil...small amount. (expected that as per conversation with owner)
No oil in water at all.

Drives very well plenty of poke no other mechanical problem evident.

Will post up pics this week. Nice project car for late summer.

Like the colour and the car. Would not break it will sort it out and keep it, son has eye on it but it would cost a fortune to insure him on it, (24 yr).

Looking forward to working on it.
