hi,

ive just removed the ugly badges from the rear of my mk2.

i think the previous owner has glued the top of the 'Z' on to the car because when i looked it had a crack in it. now i have a small section of glue/adhesive that i cant get off!

does anyone know of something i can use to get rid of it without messing up the paintwork?

thanks.

when i debadged i just used fairy liquid and really hot water, and keep at it with a top up card or something.

yea thats what ive done.

got all of it off except one very smal bit that appears to have been superglued on.

looks like it has been superglued between the adhesive pads and the paintwork.

i used the same technique to get the aftermarket rear spoiler off, they used this black adhesive/glue. just took alot of elbow greece
