Hi

Please dont take this as a 'for Sale' type post.
But im trying to guage the interest in an Austin 7 Chummy.
I've not seen it, but it belongs to my 'grandmother-in-law' and she's about to throw it away due to a house move.... it seems a waste and will no doubt have a Value (of which i have no idea.)
not sure if it runs, but its belived to be in good condtion for a car built in 1939......

Depends on it's condition and history but I think it could be worth around the £6K mark. Definitely worth doing something with even if it's put in a vintage classic car auction

It would have to be a good one for £6K.

If it is a restoration project, it could be worth as little as a few hundred, depending on how far gone it is.

Please send me a PM if she wants to sell - I may be interested (depending on price and condition).

ok np, i will try to get a look at it at the weekend.
I also found a pre-war Austin 7 club, and your right, the 6k figure seems to be for absolutely perfect ones. - but we'll see..... with a little foresight, cars like this could be sat in the corner of an Austin showroom in 10 years time...??
