I have a Kenwood CD changer with plastic fixing brackets, but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to fit them to.

Do I have to drill the floor panel to be able to fix the changer properly??

You can probably just screw it into the carpet. It wont go anywhere.

Id see how that goes first before drilling the floor, cause then you have to try seal it all and avoid hitting anything with the drill.

My amp was just screwed to the carpet and the drivers seat and it was fine.

The carpet is really thick and self tappers get a good bite into it.
