As above, does anyone know of a local breaker to MK, Bedford, Northampton who has a TF in?

I need the nearside lower rear wheel arch, plastic liner panel that the garage removed when they fitted my exhaust and subsequently lost!
Fed up of chasing them for a replacement so may just as well try to get one from a breaker.
Cheers

i have bin looking but no luck in mk at this time
I have a man working at ASM in Aylesbury and Thame
I've had lots of F bits you can try for TF bits

http://www.asm-autos.co.uk/
Thanks for that, will give them a try as well. Thought it would be a really easy part to get hold of, unless it has rear quarter damage, just about every TF in a breakers is likely to have one in good condition and can't imagine it is a highly sought after panel.

I will have to try further afield and pay postage if needs be, just trying to keep the cost as low as possible.

Hi Craig,

Got a message from Matt on SmS forum to say he just picked up some parts fro a guy who is breaking a Cat C TF160.

Not sure how local he is but check my thread on the SmS forum for a link to his eBay account.

PS, have you regained the power of hearing now you removed the decat?:naughty:

Just had the TT fitted to mine a couple of weeks ago, hence the need for the wheel arch liner - stupid garage "lost it" i.e. forgot to put it back on then probably chucked it away cause no-one could work out what it was

hearing is over rated i have the old cat back on now but its tapping on the body work all the time now and i have tryed hitting the cat with a hammer but the bit that is tapping is the welding on the cat so its a bit hard to sort out . do you have a sport cat on your TT or the old
Thanks Adrian, have messaged the seller so fingers crossed!

I looked on ebay at the weekend but could not spot anything local.

Saw you briefly at Silverstone but did not get chance to chat as I left not long after you arrived and did not make it back on Sunday.

Still enjoying the re-map?

I am thinking of asking Mark to tweek mine to give the "pop - burble" like Lee's now that I have the TT on.

Still got the standard Cat on - Sports Cat seem to be pretty expensive!

Not sure how much diference it will make to sound/performance but may think about it later on. I would certainly think about it if the cat fails.

Next purchase has to be stainless steel underfloor pipes as mine are very corroded now.

If you get the address details of the ebay tf in Northampton, Can you PM it to me as he also breaking a purple f, which a friend wants some parts from.
Mark tried fitting a pop/burble on my ecu when at Gaydon in August but it sounded tinny with a blue flame exhaust.

Still got no reply from the Northampton guy on eBay. Will let you know as soon as I do.

There's a f at Bicester, been there a while though
Thanks, needs to be a TF, the F arch and panel is slightly diferent - same as with mudflaps, Fs won't fit TFs

One will turn up sometime I hope!
Steve, there's a couple of TFs in at a breaker near me (been there a while so not sure what's left now) but I'd be happy to go and have a poke around for you.
Steve....why not ask Nick to nip into the breakers in Daventry....they usually have TF & F's in there

Thanks Ben, I was up in Bourne yesterday as it Happens - not too far from Boston! If it is not far out of your way i would be grateful if you could poke around!

Hi Lee, yes both Rich and Nick recomended Intrapart to me. I looked on the list of what they are currently breaking and there ebay site but did not list any TFs. Filled out their "parts request form" but heard nothing back yet. I will give them a bell in the week.

I really thought this would be an easy part to find.

Best offer I have had so far is £20 + £4 postage. But at that price I may just as well get a new one for £29 put on when i get the service done next month. BB, who do my servicing are an xPart garage - once I have paid for the annual service and new SS coolant pipes I don't suppose I will notice another £29 on the bill. lol

Apologies for the hi-jack, but whilst people are thinking TF bits - I need a TF airbox bracket!! Also on the lookout for some 15 in wheels so I can refurb mine
Hi Ally, Any idea what the bracket looks like? I fitted a Pipercross so I am not utilizing any part of the mounting for the OEM airbox I gave you.

Someone on here must have pictures, if I know what I am lookng for I can whip it off at the weekend coming so you can have the one that goes with that airbox.

I will se if I can dig out the "how to" thread for removing the airbox, maybe it will be clear from that
