Hi all,

11 Days ago i bid and won an item on ebay and payed for it with in 2 mins of it ending. I am still yet to receive it and have tryed to contact the seller several times with no response. Has anyone ever used bilston-bits because so far i think they are do not like sending ting out that have been won cheep and keep your mouney and resell the part. I have looked at there feadback and it look like they have done it before. Anyway all i can say is watch out for them.

Rant over

If the seller has less than 100% positive feedback its always best to have lok beofre buying or bidding. Lesson learned eh.

You can report the item as "not delivered" through the dispute system on Ebay, may be worth a try if you havent already started the dispute already?

To be fair, he has 98.2% positive from 517 feedbacks and his star ratings are good.

Just do a details request and get his phone number and call him to remind if you're that worried. You've really only been waiting a week and a half which isn't much really. At the end of the day, you're not going to a shop to buy the thing, so 10-14 days for delivery is reasonable i'd say

Bilston Bits

I bought a replacement headlight assembly from these guys when the better half bumped the Jag into a Skip, It took about a week to arrive and when it did an adjuster was broken inside the assembly. I contacted Bilston Bits upon reciept via email and they told me to buy replacement parts for the broken bits from Jaguar and they would refund the cost or i could send it back for a refund. I could not buy the broken pieces from Jaguar as they come as a complete unit so i asked for a refund. I got the refund back into paypal within 24 hours along with an email telling me to keep the part. I cannot fault them and would use them again see the feedback., my i left for them username is david28160

Well thats the thing i have looked at there feedback and it looked ok but when items that where sold on the same day and other items after it have been sent and received. But the main thing is that they have not responded to any of my emails just asking if it has been sent yet. I have started a dispute this morning and have not had any reaction from them yet and i need the parts so i can fit tf head lights.

The trouble with flea's dispute process is the delays for responses - they now have something like a week to respond and might well use all that time to be contrary, then another week for your further submission, then eBay's consideration of the matter....and on and on.

Once you've gone down the dispute route, it will either be sorted in days by Bilston on the basis of big misunderstanding/oversight or else you'll see you cash again in about late July from PayPal!

Frustrating I know, but give it a week of so to see if it all pans-out - then you can start looking elsewhere for the bits you need.
