I got Koni Yellow Top Adjustable dampers and their springs. Work a treat. They are the best buy IMO at the price compared to coilovers. Sie also has them on his mk3 turbo.

Leda fully adjustables are by far the best.. worth the extra cash in my opinion.. the quality of the kit is exceptional and the ride and handling is awesome.

But, It seems that they are the best.

 

Leda are very good but it depends on your budget, for road use they are a bit OTT, but if you intend to track day the car, then they are pretty good.

KW are very good, they use stainless steel bodies, and have a very good pedigree in Germany and most of mainland Europe.

I have Avo coilovers, and though they are one of the cheapest, they are still very good, and I have track day'ed my car several times.

It all depends on the budget you have, and what you are looking at doing with the car. You can PM or e-mail me for more info if you like.

sorry steve b but is there any chance of pics of your coilovers on the car?? i`ve had mine near a year now but they`ve always been bit noisey the strut tops are nightmare wish they gave you new one`s

Avo's are a bit noisy, no coilovers come with new top mounts, they all use the OE ones. You can get helper springs that should take some of the noise out, as they keep the spring in tension at all times, and hence it doesn't rattle so much.

The noise is a clunking sort of noise where on full extension (ie pothole/large bump) the spring rattles on the top and bottom mount, not really that bad just noticeable. The helper springs help that though so not a really bad problem.

my leda coilovers were in the region of 900quid.. the reason i went for them was that at the time, no other companies made coilovers for the zr/25/200 so they were my only option. Even though i have been very happy with them.. and i have no doubts in recommending them.. they are the best you can buy which hopefully means that they will last the age of the car.

Leda modify the OE top mounts, which eliminates any noise. I've had them on my car for a couple of years.

 

Might have to pay you a visit Bev, probably going to change mine soon.
