Have produced a batch of these for members of theMGZS.co.uk although have enough components to produce a few more wondered if anyone on here would be intrested?

Whats a VIS Indicator??
Basically the VIS motors open at different points in the rev range allowing more air into the engine giving the full power of the engine.

The VIS indicator consists of 4 leds, 2 for each VIS motor that will be fitted to the blank on the dash just to the right/left of the steering wheel. As the actuator in the motors open it feeds a signal back changing the LEDs that light up.

In basic terms it allows you to know when the motors are open and you will be able to tell if they are faulty. As its often a cause of a low powered 180.

They are going to come with Red and Green LEDs. Rather than the blue pictured.

The Kit consists of:
LED indicators that are mounted to the switch blank,
All the Wiring to install
Installation instructions

This kit requires you to splice into the loom for the VIS motors, splicing and soldering onto 5 colourcoded wires that will all be explained in the instructions included.

They will come at a cost of ÂŁ30 inc postage. I would also be greatful if the switch blank the kit replaces can be sent back to me allowing more to be produced. ( I will include a stamped addressed envelope :))

NOTE: This is not a For Sale thread as have not made them yet but if there are members on here intrested as soon as I get some more switch blanks will produce some more.

If people are seriously intrested please let me know, they are a useful bit of kit :)

The VIS motors basically control air flow to the engine, often you can get oil vapours in them which cause havoc to the circuits within them causing them to fail. Which in turn make the 180 sluggish and feel under powered. There are two motors (power/balance) that open and close at various rev ranges. The indicator taps into the signals from them and lights LEDs so you can tell if they are working properly :)

Hope that helps :)

The blanks are either side of the steering wheel on 400/45/zs and some civics that use the same dash, If they have any would be very useful :D

Let me know and I will cover any costs. Wear big pockets and you could loose a few in them

Well im prob not the best person to answer as I find the soldering easy.
Just to let those intrested in these, sorry for the delay not had many of the blanks returned so lawrence-zs180 has managed to source some which will hopefully arrive this week, When they do give it 24hrs for the compound to set and then I will have aload ready for dispatch

PMs have been sent to those that expressed intrest unfortunally I have less kits than people intrested so its a first come first served basis.

Those that have already paid they are parcelled up and will be sent tomorrow :)
Any questions with installation then just ask :)

As for light sequence if the VIS valves are fully working then they will work like this
