Interesting stuff. KERS has been in use - with a different name - on electric cars since the 1930s. It improves efficiency by up to 8%

I'm just about to start work for a company that makes hybrid power packs, so this topic is very interesting to me...

...but it is getting a little off topic. Does anyone know what the 75 connection was? How close was(is) it to production?

MGR were doing alot of work with MIRA to make a 4 wheel drive 200BHP version of the TF, as far as I know this is the only work MGR did in recent year on electric hybrid cars. Maybe the KERS came about as part of this developement work?
