At least he's honest, but it looks a decent vehicle from the outside. And yes most of them do leak oil from somewhere, you just keep topping them up.
If he really knew the vehicle he'd know it's a 110, not a Defender. This guy's just not used to owning a Landy. They are a bit more 'mechanical' than a modern car. Just imagine you're back in the '70s and you get used to it.
