Im looking for new wheels and also to drop it.

Its a Rover 25TD

Im looking into getting Wolfrace Asia Tec Suzuka Shadow Chrome 7x17 with 205/40/17 tyre's and Gmax Suspension Kit lowered by 40mm.

With it being a derv, will this cause any extra drop at the front end with the weight of the engine?...

Anyone with any knowledge of 25 suspension would be a great help.

look at getting an avo kit for the ZR TD will be beter suited.

How much diff is there between that one and the Gmax?...

Gmax kit is around the £200 mark so if this kit you talk about is within about £50-£75 i would consider it.

ZR springs will work on the 25?...

Just need the info so i know wot it is i'll be needing when the time comes.

Know its a bit out of your price range, but im getting the AVO Chassis Dynamics Kit (springs and Dampers) for 320.

Anyways, it should lower your 25 60-65mm. (As it lowers the ZR between 35-40mm)

i was told to stay away from g-max i would go wiht avos and my mate lowere dhis on a gmax kit on wiht 3people in the car on 16's it rubbed like hell and that was a td

Was quoted this on my local Cruising site this -

its not just the lowering you need to worry about, different kits will give you different rides i.e softer/harder etc, people have their preferences and different kits suit different cars, 40mm should be fine but you need to ensure that the wheels have the right offset, dont think rover are bad for their offset but just make sure its what it should be!

How do i look for the offset and how important is it to get them correct?
