help my airbag light keeps coming on and wont go out any ideas dont want to pay out hundreds please help if poss

A common 75/ZT 'feature'

The SRS lamp comes on due to a duff connector under the drivers seat. THe quick solution is to unplug it, clean the connections and then plug back in tightly, and perhaps use tape to secure.

There are other cures on here. A search for 75 SRS or airbag light should bring most of them up.

iv gt d same problem on my 216 coupe, i went 2 the rover dealer 2day n they said it would cost £45 plus vat 2 sort out

On mine it was the yellow plug under the drivers seat, I cleaned the pins and put a bit of vaseline on the connectors and since then it's been O.K.

Its enough money for them to make a few quid, but not that much for it to be questioned as a big job!
