Anyone got any experience with fitting Cruise to a ZT-T 130 Diesel? Suppliers, prices, ease of fitting, etc..

It's the only thing missing IMO.

TIA.

you can retrofit all the cruise items if you have the cruise loom present, which you should investigate asap!

search rob bell's threads (he's got a webpage of things you need to look for).. search on this forum and 75ztclub too.

I've just got mine working (retrofitted all parts secondhand - they take some finding) but you will need to recode the ecu to get 100% operation.

If you havent got the cruise loom, then start crying. They are like hens teeth to find, even secondhand... ask rob!

Did you fit the original Rover cruise unit and can you list what parts you need please? I do have the loom present. Is it only the master and steering wheel switches or is anything else needed apart from the loom? How did you get the ecu recoded? I was told by a Rover "specialist" that I can't have cruise on a manual diesel car. Is he talking c**p or what?
Sorry for so many questions, but the other threads on retro fitting cruise from Rover seemed to have died a death. My car is an 05 manual diesel tourer.
Cheers.

Yes he was talking rubbish, Cruise Control was available on all models, manual and automatic, except the 1.8 and 1.8T models.

have a look here. you need to search on the other forum too. In that way, it can be brought up to date on this one again.... ZCS codes need to be read on T4, then omitec can recode and provide new codes via xpart dealers. T4 or rovercom then needs to add the codes and make it all work. As I say, I think I am the first UK person to get it working (Rob has done all the hard work but has been stuck on the loom), but its also been done through dealers in Germany. see listings on the german forums too.

Thanks for all the advice but I was looking for something aftermarket rather than faffing around collecting disparate parts.
