Hello Folks ,I'm new to the world of the net forum and looking for your help.I bought a Rover 75 Connoisseur approx 6 months ago, although I love the car, it hasn't been without it's problems. The latest is that the ABS warning light stays on ,brake fluid etc is fine , I'm alos getting excessive noise when turning the steering wheel to the extreme left or right ( again power steering fluid fine), can any of you gurus assist?

Get your ABS relays and fuses checked first of all incase one has worked loose/failed. Also, the ABS system uses a Reluctor Ring on the hub (looks a bit like like a toothed wheel/cog) and a magnetic sensor mounted just above it. The wiring to these has been known to come adrift and this would register a fault.

I've had the ABS problem twice on the ZS and both times it has been a case of having the Reluctor Ring replaced.

Regards

John
