Last night I was driving back from Old Trafford to Bournemouth after watching England when some strange stuff happened.

I had the lights on sidelights and all was fine.
When it got darker I turned them onto to dipped beam then this happened -

The front and rear windscreen wipers started going and would not stop. The only way I can stop this is to turn the dipped beam off and return to sidelight mode - pretty dangerous on the A31 at 10pm.

When I indicated right the indcator noise was very fast making me think that the problem was caused by a bulb going. When I got home I check the bulbs and the Front Right indicator did not work (the main one in the headlight cluster - the side and rear indicators were ok). However when I turned the lights back from dipped to sidelights the indicator started working again!!!!!
There did not seem to be any problem with indicating left!!

Any ideas on this?? It is very strange and annoying me.

It has to be something upsetting the MFU.It is very strange but if there is a poor earth somewhere then the flow will try to find an alternative route hence the MFU madness.
