75 Tourer new wheel advice

I have a 2002 75 Tourer 2.0 diesel (CDT Classic SE if we're being honest) It's completely stock and my daily driver.

I got it second hand in March 2008 and it's never given me any problems and it's got 140,000 on the clock.

I just want to tidy it up a bit and the one thing it needs most is some new wheels. (The previous owner obviously had parking issues)

I'd like to go slightly bigger, to give the appearance of it being lower but I know there are indicator/legal issues regarding height and I also don't want to sacrifice handling or safety.

It's got 195/65 R15's on at the minute.

Can anyone give me some options/advice please? Any help would be gratly appreciated.

hi. :welcome: there is a thread on here somewhere with all the standard rover/mg wheels. how big do you want to go, if 18" is your choice there are plenty mg wheels about s/hand which look good on any 75. Tam.
Cheers for the pointer. I will hunt it out.
eBay is a good place to start for this kind of thing. The ZT 18-inchers are usually pretty expensive for a set in good condition, but will look the business, e.g. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MG-ZT-Hairpin...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item27b5493bde

How about this set of 16s from a Rover 75, OEM but quite unusual, and a more reasonable price: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2005-ROVER-75...s_tyres_Trims_Car_Rims_ET&hash=item3f031dcdf7

Can help you there, go to STICKY at the top of the page headed Frequently asked questions, scroll all the way to post 54 where you will find pics of all the standard OEM wheels
I thought all 75 diesels were fitted with 16" fork pattern wheels
