hi every one ,
just had a 75 diesel turn up at work late ,went out in it and its very slugish ,and smokes a driving along ,allso a change in engine note as well ,
the cars done about 40,000 on a 03 plate ,am i right in thinking it may be the air intake sensor by the air filter ?? or is it a chance it could be a fuel pump problem ,i think some one on here had problems with a secondary pump ?
sorry about the questions but i normally work on petrols :O .

It would help if you could describe the colour of the smoke.

White would mean incomplete combustion & bad injectors

Black would be gross overfuelling and probably a shot MAF sensor.

Blue- possibly oil from turbo getting ingested in the engine.
