Hi all,

When the ignition is turned off, should the digital trip counter/temperature gauge stay illuminated? My one does and am wondering if this is a fault?

Thanks in advance,
Paul.

If you press the reset trip button with the key out of the ignition, it comes on and appears to stay on. Could it be linked with that in some way?

Sorry yes! ignition switch! And you are right Alan, press the trip button without the key in the ignition and it will illuminate for a little while (as well as the petrol guage tell you how much fuel you have).

Thank you for that. I should have guessed you meant ignition switch. DOH!

But what if it stays illuminated all of the time, which mine does?

Thanks
paul.

Something under the "FAQ" brought up earlier - methinks?

Something about the diagnostic modes of the Instrument pack/ Climate control unit/ head unit/ memory seats ... too?
